For what possible reason would my friend have a giant novelty hand (like at sports matches) under his bed?

It’s above me; there’s never any matches around here.

For the same reason I keep a carrier bag under my bed, in case I need a sh.it in the night.

    Because it makes a lot more sense to keep it there than to put it on the coffee table.

    Maybe he got it at a special sports event out of town. It is a souvenir of a great time in his life. Are you suggesting that he’s going something a little kinky with that big hand? Is he into the S & M? :-) Perhaps you should ask him to give you a little light spanking with it and see how it feels. Better yet, in the heat of the moment, reach under the bed, grab hold of it and suddenly give him a few whacks with it. This might to lead to something interesting … or more likely it probably will invoke him to yell out, "We’re #1! We’re #1." :-)

    There is a good reason. You friend puts the hand on a yells "I’m number one" to self motivate him/her self each morning when they get up.

    It helps to stimulate ones ego each morning.

    Or your friend is a sports fan who needs more storage space.

    Where would you expect him to keep it? Sounds like the best place to me. He probably bought it at a sports event and doesn’t have anywhere else to keep it. Seriously, if you think it’s for something kinky, I think you need to get out more!
