Is a king sized bed the same as two twin bed?

Is a king size bed the same size as two twin beds? I would like to put two twin bed frames together to make a king bed frame.

They would be the same width if the twins are the 3′ wide size, but maybe 6" shorter. Normal twin beds are usually 6’2" long and king beds 6’8"

i’d say two twin beds either make a full size bed or a queen. nowhere near a king size bed.
