A long, long time ago, I had a chance to visit a rather old store. Everything there was practically ancient. Cash register was mechanical. But they had this awesome bubble gum machine that kept me coming back for more.
The bubble gum machine is known by many names, perhaps none more familiar than gumball machine. After all, many of them popularized the concept of dispensing large round mounds of essentially sugar to kids who were willing to drop a coin and turn a knob. But oh, the fun.
Some of these dispensing bubble gum machines act like video games, with lights and action to match. How exciting. But sometimes, I just need the old fashioned bubble gum machine that gave me nothing but pure sugar goodness.
