Difference between a daybed and a regular bed?

I am buying my 13 year old daughter a daybed for her birthday. My first question is….the frame she wants is on ebay & it specifies that the spring rails are not included. The price listed is for the frame ONLY. How much money additionally would it be to get these? Also, do we need to buy special sheet sets since the set-up of the bed is different? Thank you in advance.

A day bed is a bed that has the railing going around the top, bottom and one side of the bed.A twin bed is just a single bed,and a toddler bed in small, the mattress is the same size as a crib mattress!!
also you can look on the site for the sheets!

Before you buy the frame, you should search for the rails. They may not be available. Unless you know someone who could adapt any rail to fit, the frame is a waste of money.

Day beds are simply twin beds. Any twin sheet will fit.
