What do you prefer? Red wines or white wines? Almost everyone I know as a very particular preference. As for myself … I really do not know. I like them both pretty evenly I guess. For me I take it all on a wine by wine basis. Certainly there are times when I might feel like a red over a white (and vice versa), but that is only natural isn’t it? Sometime I prefer the crisp flavors of white wines over the warm flavors of reds. Other times I like the bold taste and rich aroma of reds over the much more delicate tastes and aromas of whites. Tell me, what do you know about the Californian wine country? If you are like most people probably not a whole lot. Sure you are probably aware that California is well known for its wine, but that does not really tell you much about the culture of the wine that comes from Napa or the Sonoma valley. Personally I am someone who is in a love hate relationship with California and the wine that it produces. I love its cabs, merlots and some other varietals, but I absolutely with every fiber of my body loath the disgusting pinot noirs that are made in California.
