Will my full comforter I just bought fit on a daybed?

If they are both full size then they should fit fine. If your daybed is actually more like a twin then you will have a small overlay.

crib to toddler or daybed?

My son is 9 months. I have a crib for him but it was given to me before he was born. It is a little old and missing one of the parts to keep one of the sides locked in place. Anyways he is learning to pull up and stand so I worried about his safety. I want to get him a new crib but the ones that convert (which is what I want) into a toddler bed. Well the toddler bed looks like a daybed. Isnt day beds more for girls? Do they have one that converts into a real toddler bed? Tell me what you think

I have a Graco convertible crib and it’s a 3 in 1. It converts to a daybed and a toddler bed. We bought it from Target online if you care to check it out. My son is still in the crib part and we haven’t converted it yet. But a daybed is not more for girls!

I have a 9 year old who is in need of a bed. Im trying to decided should I buy her a twin bed or a daybed. I think that the daybed looks better, but I dont hear much about them. What should I do.

Get a daybed! You can add a pop-up trundle to it and put another twin size mattress on that. When you have a friend spend the night you just pull it out and pop it up. It rolls so you can move it over to another part of the room for your friend to sleep on. It also looks more like a sofa than a bed when your friends come over.

Also later when you get older you can pop it up….push it close to your bed….cover with a king foam mattress cover and have a king size bed.
It will also work well for a guest room once you leave and then come home to visit with your husband!

Futon vs daybed vs mattress?

I’m moving into a bachelor suite and want a bed that I can make look respectable when guests come over, but that won’t break my back. Would you recommend a futon, a daybed, or just a mattress with cushions tossed on it?
Haha… "masculine style". I’m a girl…
One of each. Any other suggestions?

futon. i say that fits the whole bachelor pad motif and when your done with it you can still use it as a sofa. i think a futon has more function in a small space than the other ideas

The only pillows I have on my bed is:

- 1 main sham the print of the bedding
- 1 accent sham the print of the sheets
- A name pillow

All of these are standard sizes but it makes my bed look unfinished and ugly. So if you could provide some links for some accent pillows, that’d be awesome. Thanks!

Silly question about daybeds and trundle beds…?

Does anyone know if you can use a bedskirt on a daybed if you don’t have the trundle bed? I ordered a daybed online and don’t think it will look right without a bed skirt…and can’t really afford a trundle and second mattress…

Yeah you can….I used to because I didn’t think it looked right without one either.

What’s the difference between:

comforters
bedspreads
down and down alternative comforters
duvet covers
daybed covers

comforters – Does not touch the floor and is normally sold or used with a dustruffle.

bedspreads – Touch the floor and have extra length to cover the pillows

down and down alternative comforters – Down Wool and Cotton as opposed to poly fill are warmer and more expensive.

duvet covers – Cover a comforter when you want a new look or to protect the comforter from damage it is easier to wash a duvet cover rather then the entire comforter.

Difference between a daybed and a regular bed?

I am buying my 13 year old daughter a daybed for her birthday. My first question is….the frame she wants is on ebay & it specifies that the spring rails are not included. The price listed is for the frame ONLY. How much money additionally would it be to get these? Also, do we need to buy special sheet sets since the set-up of the bed is different? Thank you in advance.

A day bed is a bed that has the railing going around the top,bottom and one side of the bed.A twin bed is just a single bed,and a toddler bed in small,the mattress is the same size as a crib mattress!!

Can you buy a seperate Trundle and roll it under any daybed?

I want to buy a daybed but i also want a trundle under it but the daybed i want doesn’t say Daybed with trundle so could i just buy a seperate trundle bed and slide it under or will it not fit?

Won’t fit. A trundle bed, and it’s hardware, is designed to fit under a specific day bed. And I’ve never seen a separate "trundle bed" sold.

I need tips, tricks, or ideas on how to decorate my bedroom. Any help?

I am almost 18 years old and I need a big change in my bedroom. I have a daybed and have a hard time finding bedding that would look as good as it does on regular beds on a daybed. I also want a quaint, antique feel in my room without it feeling lke my mother decorated it for me like I was 12 again. One more problem to add on is I can’t paint my walls so they’ll have to stay a bland neutral white, since I’ll be moving out for college in a year.
