I’m gonna need 1 laundry basket (instead of a bag so that i can fold my clothes right away-do u think that’s a good idea?), 1 under bed containers (i prefer something open), hangers, stepping stool, waste baskets, bed covers adn whatever goes in a set, 2 pillows, bed table, hair dryer, shower rug so that i don’t slip again like during orientation, book light….. get the picture? Here are some of the stores I am thinking of: KMart, Target, Anna’s Linens, Big Lots, Walmart. Is Anna’s Linens the cheapest for the things I need for the toilet and beddings and towels?

Walmart is probably the cheapest. It probably would have been better to watch the sale flyers all summer and pick up things as they went on sale.

Have you ask family for things? Aunts,cousins,and grandparents might be able to find somes items they would love to give you. Maybe they can give you what I call a shower of give away for the college kid. But Goodwill is just around the corner.

Check dollar stores for some of the smalled things. You might be surprised at what a good dollar store, like the Dollar Tree, might carry. The rest, I think Walmart is cheap.

Anna’s Linens has good prices but I have found better prices at Wal Mart. I would say get most of your stuff at Wal Mart. If you don’t find something you like then check Anna’s. Kohl’s has great sales each week on household stuff ( linens, etc ) Check their sale flyer if you have one nearby. Big Lots is a great idea depending on how your Big Lots is. Ours is kinda small and not always stocked so good. I’ve seen others that are excellent, though!
