How often do you change your bedding?

I change my bedding at least once a week, sometimes twice, but my friend just told me she changes hers once a month if that!! I thought that was gross but she thinks im obsessive doing as often as I do.

I change it once a week, but every day when I make the bed I always fold the duvet back, so that the bed can air and I use linen spray.

Once a week and I have a linen spray that I put on the sheets and pillows every night so they smell fresh everytime I lay down. Once a month is nasty.

Once per month does seem too long. I usually change my bedding once per week or every other week depending on my schedule. I love the smell of freshly washed sheets when I sleep. I also like knowing that the mites in bed are now in the washing machine! LOL

Once a week is appropriate. Beds soak up all the smells, dead skin, and oils a body puts off. People who change their bedding once a month or for some, once a year, are lazy pigs. My Mother in Law is one of those people.

I’ve always done it once a week. Your friend has to sleep in her bed so really it’s whatever she is comfortable with. If she’s sharing with anyone however, they should have some input and offer to help with the laundry if they want it done more often.

If I foreget, then they crawl off to the washing machine themselves! However, normally every 7-10 days, but less in summer, when you usually sweat more.

Gulp…..ummm….winter/summer. Unless I wet the bed (via uncontrollable sneezing or a retro virus) or accidently get blood on it (that time of the month). I dont have a partner and quite frankly…..they are the "messy" ones (with their emissions going every which way). If I had a partner Id change it when I didnt like the smell anymore. As it is…I change them when I dont like the smell of ME anymore…ie not very often.

You are obsessive…who else comes and sniffs your sheets? The sheets dont get really comfortable until the starchy feeling goes away anyhow…and that takes at least a fortnight.

Once a week sounds about right, you should also change your pillow when you fold it in half and it stays there or at least every 6 months your friend who changes her bed only once in a while, she must get bitten a lot. (I ‘m sure those bed bugs really like your friend)
